Well I just finished reviewing a brand new homesteading book by Abigail R. Gehring. The title is "Homesteading: A Back to Basics Guide to Growing Your Own Food, Canning, Keeping Chickens, Generating Your Own Energy, Crafting, Herbal Medicine, and More". This is a very nice hardcover book with lots of great details and contributions from many established homesteaders. {jumi}<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=theyard-20&o=1&p=8&l=as1&asins=1602397473&fc1=000000&IS2=1<1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>{/jumi}Our very own Kathleen contributed an article to the book as well. You may remember...
Abigale R. Gehring for another best seller homesteading book, Back to Basics: A Complete Guide to Traditional Skills, Third Edition . {jumi}<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=theyard-20&o=1&p=8&l=as1&asins=1602392331&fc1=000000&IS2=1<1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>{/jumi}We have and recommend both of these books. When your copy of Homesteading arrives, don't forget to check out page 30 for Kathleen's article about The Yardstead.
