Pledging Our Hands to Larger Service

Written by sguyott

Community service is an important part of 4-H and all members should be engaged in serving others.  The Plymouth County 4-H Horse clubs took part in a "Birthday in a Bag" community service project.  They collected essential items for a birthday celebration including cake mix, frosting, plates, napkins, decorations and small gift items.  They packaged them in beautiful bags for presentation.  The fourty bags are being donated to various shelters around Plymouth County including the Plymouth Area Collation for the Homeless, CareWorks and South Shore Community Action Council.
